Three musicians. Two brothers. One married couple. This is KOJ. Together they give life to a sound that is full of contrasts, sometimes roaring, untamed and raw, as the ocean that inspires them, other times delicate, fragile and minimalistic. Watching them perform is like peeking right into KOJs soul...dark, dramatic and riveting.

History
The last two years have been quite a journey for KOJ. The band teamed up with Headline Booking (Gentlemen, In Extremo) and Kick the Flame Publishing (Martin Kohlstedt, Max Prosa) and have had the opportunity to support artists such as …And You Will Know Us By A Trail Of Dead and Beth Ditto.
In early 2019 KOJ was signed to Long Branch Records (Kaiser Chiefs, Everlast, Agent Fresco, Razz) and Addictive Artists Management (The Hirsch Effekt). KOJ are currently writing and recording their debut album with engineer and producer Beray Habip (Giant Rooks, Adam Angst, Nick Howard) in various studios including the Toolhouse Studios (Heisskalt, Fjort, Milky Chance, The Intersphere).
Since 2012 KOJ have continuously been working on their music and forging their deep dark indie soundscapes. With the support and funding of Initiative Musik KOJ is going to drop their first single „Home“ on Nov 8th 2019, followed by the release of their debut album in Spring 2020.
